Electrical Design for Hallett Group — Port Adelaide & Port Augusta Green Transformation
JMB Engineering is providing electrical design services for Hallett Group’s green transformation projects at their Port Adelaide and Port Augusta cement manufacturing facilities in South Australia. These projects represent a significant investment in sustainable industrial infrastructure, transitioning key processes toward lower-emission operations.
Port Adelaide — Dome Electrical Design
At the Port Adelaide facility, JMB Engineering is delivering the electrical design package for the dome project, covering power distribution, lighting, control systems and associated infrastructure. Our scope includes detailed design drawings, cable schedules, switchboard specifications and coordination with mechanical and structural disciplines to ensure a fully integrated, constructable design.
Port Augusta — Green Transformation Electrical Design
The Port Augusta project involves electrical engineering design to support the broader green transformation of the facility. JMB Engineering is providing power system design, equipment specifications and electrical installation drawings to support the upgrade of plant systems and integration of new process equipment.
Our Approach
Both projects require close coordination between multiple engineering disciplines and alignment with Australian electrical standards including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008 and relevant mining and industrial standards. Our team works directly with the Hallett Group project team to deliver practical, buildable design packages that meet operational requirements and construction timelines.
- Complete electrical design packages (SLDs, schematics, cable schedules, layout drawings)
- Power distribution design and equipment specification
- AutoCAD drafting and documentation
- Standards compliance (AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008)
- Multi-discipline coordination
